This was my first time trying this coffee. I am partial to coffees from Southeast Asia, and this one was no exception. I find it a little bitter compared to, say, Bali Blue Krishna and Sumatra, my two favorites, but I found JKTD pleasingly robust.
The Java has a very good aroma, great flavor. The best coffee I've had lately.
It is a lovely way to start each morning. Easy to drink with subtle taste and flavor. So enjoyable that you don't want to get to the end of the cup.

It is fun for me to have this delicious coffee as we visited Sipi Falls while we lived in Uganda for a year. The area is part of the head of the White Nile that early explorers risked their lives to find. So much history, so much flavor!

I am partial to Indonesian coffee…so I was interested to see how this variety was. Well…we are very pleased! It is smooth and has a sweet finish. Bali Blue Krishna is still our favorite, but this is a good addition.
