My "go to" coffee. Deep, rich and earthy.
What can I say - if you’ve had Seth’s coffee, then you already know. If you haven’t, then you’re missing out. I haven’t found a coffee distr that even comes close. This latest batch was (chef’s kiss) magnificent.
The flat is not as intense as Sumatran but there are similarities. The notes are different.
I'll start by saying that we only buy Seth's coffee and have been drinking it in our home for 20 years. Ethiopia Yergacheffe is my very favorite coffee when Seth roasts it. It has a smooth and rich taste with a hot chocolate and slight cordial cherry taste. It leaves a wonderful taste in your mouth. I've tasted it from other roasters and it didn't come close to the taste.
Tanzania Peaberry is my second favorite coffee. It has a great lingering taste of sweet spice.
I tell everyone I know about the quality and value of OBR. Seth and team are fantastic. Only buy my coffee from them.
Due to health issues, decaf has been added to our daily coffee menu. So after some of Seth's great regular offerings, we enjoy his carefully selected decaf with gusto.
If you like big, bold & earthy Central American coffee this one is for you. Perfectly roasted!
We just bought El Salvador, and using a frequency range analogy to rate the different brews, we place it in the mid-range frequency alongside Honduras. Meaning they settle at about middle C on the scale. We like them both but tend to prefer the deeper, lower registers--Brazil, Bolivia, and Peru, We do use the mid-and higher registers for a fun blend experience. We're definitely camped in South and Central American brew territory!

This coffee is not bitter. I have several different varieties in my freezer. All delicious and different but this Tanzania Ruvma Peaberry is perfect in all respects It’s what I serve to my guests.
