The Poco Fundo Co-Op was founded in 1991. Now with over 70 small family farms, they are joined in unity with a desire improve their standard of living by increasing productivity, while still maintaining sustainability. In 2003 these farmers became certified as Fair Trade growers, and we are proud to offer up this micro lot grown in the Minas Gerais region of Southeast Brazil. The Poco Fundo is Certified Organically Grown. It is sharper and brighter than its Brazilian Brothers. This South American is a solid, medium bodied bean, with subtle citrus notes and a smooth, velvety finish.
