Description   Received 3/24/2007 The Ruvuma District is in the southernmost region of Tanzania where the country's western edge slopes down to meet Lake Nyasa. This Central African coffee has a good snap - sweet and spicy with hints of warm cedar. A light caramel flavor is also detectable with an exceptionally clean, smooth finish. Tanzanian coffee is typically shade grown. Mixed crops of bananas and native plants allow growers to have less impact on the environment while creating a more productive landscape.
