Grower-Certified Organic Natural (sun-dried) Decaf African coffee from the Sidamo region in Southwest Ethiopia. Absolutely the sweetest, wine-like, aromatic Decaf we have to offer - this is due to the considerably more primitive sun-drying process. Ripe red, hand-picked cherries are dried fully in the sun until the seed can be cracked apart in a mill and the dried remains of the fruit sorted out by hand. There's always a variety of shapes, sizes and colors in the roast, as the coffee is completely wild, un-screened, and therefore not uniform. These are the coffees that excite me the most; it is as close to the roots of our prized beverage as you can get. This is a fully water processed decaf.
